Sunday School
Redeemer's Sunday School is a place for kids to come, learn, and grow in a Christian environment that is loving, nurturing, and fun! Rooted in the Gospel of God's grace, our Sunday School is dedicated to teaching the Word of God and assisting children in their spiritual growth.
More than 40 children participate in the children programs at Redeemer. Programs are open to any child and all their friends - there is always room for one more. Children's programs offered are free and supported by the people of Redeemer and their generous offerings.
Visitors and newcomers are always welcome!
Sunday School does make a difference in a child's life.
GROWING IN THE WORD
Our Curriculum:
Growing in Christ from Concordia Publishing House
Our Sunday School teachers are welcoming, friendly and enthusiastic about sharing Christ's love with children. Classes are led by one or two volunteers who are responsible for planning, preparing and carrying out the year's program. These caring teachers bring children the “Good News” through study of the Bible, crafts, games, singing and other engaging activities.
The Growing in Christ curriculum is Christ-centered, innovative, relevant, engaging, and creative!
Growing in Christ is filled with age-appropriate activities and teaching tools that engage children in meaningful and relevant interaction with God’s Word.
TIME & PLACE
Sunday School meets every Sunday from 9:30-10:30am in our Fellowship Hall. We kick of with an opening time together, and then break out into age-appropriate clases. Classes are offered for ages 3 through 8th grade.
MISSION PROJECT
For 2009-2010, Redeemer's Sunday School is taking our theme "Growing in Christ" outside the Fellowship Hall and literally into the foundation of our church. By contributing to the building program, we will be helping to add beautiful landscaping to improve our church, making it welcoming to new visitors. Through the Lord's work and our charitable giving, we can make a difference and can be proud of our participation. Thank you for your offerings!
SOWING THE SEEDS OF FUN
The Sunday School program also sponsors fellowship activities each month during the school year. Children are also invited to participate by singing in worship services Palm Sunday, Christmastime and periodically during the school year.
